Courses and Training Opportunities

There are many in-person and online courses and refreshers available.  

Mountain View CERT (See MV CERT page)

• The CERT academy to train new CERT members starts on Thursday, April  9, 2026, for five Tuesday and Thursday evenings, ending with field day on Saturday April 25, 2026. To register for this CERT training, click here.

FEMA and READY.gov (See: FEMA CERT page)

• CERT Introduction Training: IS-317 (Online): is available as an independent study course that serves as an introduction to CERT for those wanting to complete online training or as a refresher for current CERT members. The online course takes between six and eight hours to complete at your own pace.
